How We Got Started

We got our first Australian Shepherd "Buck" back in 2020. Originally we did not plan to operate as professional breeders, we just wanted a wonderful pet for ourselves. However, we became hooked and soon we added a second and then a third one to our family.

After acquiring a lot of information about the breeding process, we decided to do our part in preserving it, which led to the birth of JS Aussies. Since then, we have entered the Dog Sports world. Our dogs are involved in FastCat, Herding, Dock Diving, Barn Hunt, Trick Dog, Frisbee.

Australian Shepherds, as a breed, are known for their wonderful personality and being very people oriented. Their high intelligence and strong desire to please make them easy to train, and a very loyal companion. They are so smart, active, and need to have lots of love, attention, and outlets for their energy. We feel they are the perfect dog for our family, but you will want to study up on them to make sure an Australian Shepherd is the dog for you. Our Australian Shepherds are bred to the breed standard as described by the AKC and ASCA. We do not have “minis” or “toys”. All puppies are priced with limited registration. Full rights are available by request.

GUIDING MISSION

Animal Welfare Come First

All of our puppies go to their new homes well socialized by us. They are ready to be a part of your family. All of our adults are health tested to ensure we are raising healthy and happy puppies. All puppies go home with a new puppy kit that includes puppy food, harness, leash and more! Each puppy has a final vet check to ensure they are healthy and ready to take on the world!

At JS Australian Shepherds , we continue to care about our animals long after they leave us. As such, it’s our strict policy that if something happens after purchasing a puppy and you can no longer care for the dog, it MUST be returned to us with no questions asked.
